Elizabeth
Accounting Manager
Elizabeth is the accounting manager at the McConnell Law Firm. She enjoys the firm’s use of technology and the motivational leadership of the founding attorney. For her, the best part of her job is the opportunity to help others through the most challenging times of their lives.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a 2023 NextGen Under 30 Kansas honoree. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her family.
Bethany
Legal Assistant
Bethany is a legal assistant at the McConnell Law Firm, where she communicates with clients and handles all necessary items to ensure the smooth running of each case.
Bethany worked for a local domestic violence agency before joining the firm in 2018, and she appreciates that she can use her social work background with clients. She believes that witnessing clients’ journeys is highly rewarding. The team sees clients at times at their lowest, but by the time their case is finished, they have taken steps to grow and advance their lives for the better.
Marisol
Office Manager and Lead Paralegal
Marisol is an office manager and lead paralegal at the McConnell Law Firm, where she works alongside the attorneys and communicates with clients regarding case status. She loves that each day brings something new, and clients understand that the team is fully by their side during a tough time in their lives.
Outside of work, Marisol enjoys spending time with her family and three Frenchies: Kilo, Milo and Shilo. Marisol holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Women’s Studies with a minor in Psychology from Wichita State University. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University in May of 2025.
Julia
Intake and Client Relations Manager
Julia is the intake and client relations manager at the McConnell Law Firm. She loves the relationships she builds every day at the office and enjoys learning and excelling in her communication skills. Her favorite part of her job is being able to let clients know they are not alone and that the team is there to help them through such a stressful time in their lives.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys being with her family and boyfriend, Garrett, and hanging out with her dog, Rosie.
Lauryn
Intake Specialist
Lauryn is a intake and client research specialist at the McConnell Law Firm, where she assists clients and potential clients, performs legal research, and handles electronic filing and invoicing. She loves knowing that the firm helps people at one of the worst times in their lives, making their situation a little less stressful.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauryn worked as an administrative assistant on the Army base at the Fort Riley Education Center. She has a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies and is pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Newman University. She also has an internship with the Rise Up for Youth nonprofit organization for her MSW program.
Ashlyn
Discovery and Legal Support Specialist
Ashlyn is a Discovery and Legal Support Specialist at the McConnell Law Firm. She enjoys the team’s collaborative nature and takes pride in helping achieve the best possible outcomes for clients during some of the most difficult times of their lives. She especially enjoys the challenge of building a case through discovery and evidence, finding it incredibly rewarding when that work contributes to a successful resolution for a client.
Ashlyn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, traveling, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and spending time on the lake.
