As the largest nonprofit focused on blood cancers, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma along with improving the quality of life for patients and their families. Since 1949, the organization has spent more than $1.2 billion on research, patient support, policy and advocacy.

Jonathan W. McConnell, the founding attorney at the McConnell Law Firm, has long been dedicated to making a positive difference. The death of his mother, Vickie McConnell, to a rare form of cancer further inspired Jon to help others, especially those affected by cancer.

“I want to leave a lasting impression, and that lasting impression is going to be how I help others,” he said.

In the past, Jon has made personal commitments to raise money for the LLS, even earning the position of first runner-up for Man of the Year in the Wichita area. Additionally, the McConnell Law Firm regularly donates to the organization among many others.
