Founded in 1913, the Wichita State University Alumni Association was designed to bring Shockers together. According to their mission statement, they strive “to foster loyalty, interest, and support for the University and one another.” The WSU Alumni Association allows Shocker alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends to communicate with one another, network, and support the university they love.
From sponsoring graduation events for students and WSU sports to organizing reunions and even alumni travel groups, the WSU Alumni Association brings Shockers together in as many ways as possible. As the largest network of Shockers in the world, the WSU Alumni Association embraces the bond between WSU grads and their alma mater. They work to preserve Shocker history, build relationships, engage in campus and alumni events, and establish traditions for future Shockers. Their efforts strengthen the university, improving the value of every degree WSU offers.
